There are several different styles of shutters that you may consider for your windows and we are always happy to offer our expert advice on which style will suit your home. Please take a look below to read more about the various styles of shutters that we offer.

Full height shutters are the most popular style that we sell. These are made-to-measure for your window and are designed to line up perfectly with your existing windows. Each shutter panel can be opened to allow easy access to the windows. Full height shutters come with options which allow you to have privacy by keeping the bottom slats closed, whilst still allowing light in by keeping the top slats open.

Café style shutters are a popular choice for those who want to allow sunlight in to their room whilst maintaining the privacy that shutters can offer. This style covers only the bottom section of the window but can still incorporate a split in the tilt mechanism if required.

Tier-on tier shutters are most suited to sash windows and give you the option of having separate shutter panels for the top and bottom sections of the window. You can fully open the top panels to allow in plenty of light while keeping the bottom sections closed completely.

Solid panel shutters are a good option for when you want to block out as much light as possible and don't need the option of tilting slats to allow the light in. These are also available as half solid panels and half louvered shutters.

Whatever size or shape your bay window is we can design shutters to fit. Shutters are a particularly good option for bay windows as you won't get the corner gap that you often get with other types of blind. We can design custom bay posts which follow the angle of your window to ensure a perfect enclosed fit.

Although conservatories are the ideal place to sit and relax, they can be problematic when it comes to light control. Shutters can help you to solve this problem by giving you the option to close up the side that the sun is beaming through while still allowing plenty of light through the other windows.
