Why Joseph Michael Shutters in Birmingham?
Our Birmingham survey service also covers Kings Norton, Wythall and Rubery. The reviews below include customers in Kings Norton and Rubery, giving you a first-hand view of our measuring, communication and fitting service.
For a bay window, we check every angle and the space around handles before recommending a frame and panel layout. For street-facing rooms, café-style shutters or split tilt controls can help balance privacy with daylight. For French doors and larger openings, we discuss access and panel movement as part of the design.
Paulownia hardwood is our main range, with basswood, pine and PVC options available. We bring samples to your home so you can compare colours and finishes against your décor. Ask about louvre sizes, hidden tilt and which material is appropriate for bathrooms or other moisture-prone rooms.
Your quotation is based on the measured size, material, style and controls. We explain the specification and confirm the estimated lead time before you order, then arrange professional fitting. You can ask questions throughout the process without pressure to decide during the visit.

"I absolutely LOVE my new shutters and blinds - they look absolutely amazing, work really well and were definitely worth the wait! The service was fantastic from start to finish; Mike gave us a competitive quote and his communication with us was good throughout the whole process. The timescales we were given for when the shutters were due to arrive were accurate. Mike and his fitter were extremely friendly, professional and tidied up well after completing the job. Thank you so much! I would highly recommend this company."
