Made-to-Measure Plantation Shutters in Bromsgrove

Choosing shutters for a Bromsgrove home starts with the window itself. Bay windows, tall sash windows and modern glazing need different panel layouts. During your free home survey, we measure each opening and discuss privacy, daylight, window handles and how you want the panels to open.

Full-height shutters cover the whole window, with louvres you can tilt to adjust light and privacy. Café-style shutters cover the lower part while leaving the top open. Tier-on-tier shutters have upper and lower panels that open independently. For bay-window shutters, we plan the frames and folding panels around each angle of the bay.

We bring material, colour and louvre samples to your home so you can compare them in your own light. Our paulownia hardwood shutters are made to measure, with frame and tilt options discussed at the survey. Mike is your point of contact for advice, measuring and arranging installation.

How long do shutters take? Our usual guide is 12–14 weeks from ordering, with the current lead time confirmed before you commit. Installation is arranged once your shutters have arrived. The quotation sets out the chosen specification and price, so you can make an informed decision without pressure.

Do shutters provide blackout? Standard plantation shutters help control light but are not a complete blackout system; some light can pass around the panels and louvres. If darkness is a priority for a bedroom, tell us at your survey so we can discuss suitable options.
