Shutters Stourbridge
Made-to-measure plantation shutters in Stourbridge, Hagley and Dudley, with a free home survey from Joseph Michael Shutters. Our family-run business specialises in hardwood shutters and helps you choose a practical design for your windows, privacy needs and budget.
For a street-facing lounge, compare café-style shutters with full-height panels and split tilt controls. For bedrooms, discuss light control and panel coverage. We measure the actual openings and check handles and clearances, including the angles of bay windows, before finalising the design.
Our main range uses paulownia hardwood, with basswood, pine and PVC options also available. We bring samples so you can compare finishes in your own home and discuss the best material for each room. We confirm the specification, fitting arrangements and current estimated lead time before you order.
Book a free, no-obligation survey in Stourbridge, Hagley or Dudley using the form below, or call Mike on 07875 511 210. A rough idea of the rooms and number of windows is enough to begin; we take the detailed measurements during your visit.
Why Joseph Michael Shutters in Stourbridge?
A useful shutter survey starts with how you want the room to feel. We help homeowners in Stourbridge, Hagley and Dudley compare privacy, daylight and the appearance of different panel layouts before choosing a design.
Full-height shutters cover the window from top to bottom. Café-style shutters cover the lower portion, leaving the upper glass clear. Tier-on-tier designs have separate upper and lower panels. The right choice depends on your window proportions and the space available for opening the panels.
For bay windows, we check the angles, handles and frame depth. For doors, we discuss how the shutters will open alongside the door. For bathrooms, ask about suitable moisture-resistant materials rather than choosing on appearance alone.
What affects the price? Size, material, frame, panel style and tilt mechanism all form part of your individual quotation. What happens next? We measure, show samples and agree the specification, then confirm the estimated manufacturing and fitting timetable before you order.
Your free survey is a chance to ask questions without pressure. Use the form below to tell us about your property in Stourbridge, Hagley or Dudley, or call Mike on 07875 511 210.
