Window shutters in Alcester
Small cottage windows and big modern ones both work. Shutters are made to measure, so a narrow window gets narrow panels and a wide one is split into as many as it needs.
Café style suits rooms that face the street. It covers the lower half of the window for privacy and leaves the top clear for daylight.

French door shutters, Redditch
The way to the garden kept clear
Full height panels on French doors fold back clear of the glass, so the doors still open onto the garden.

Older buildings need careful measuring.
Walls and frames are rarely true, so we measure every opening ourselves and each shutter is made to fit it. Solid panel shutters are worth a look in period rooms: without louvres they block more light and have a traditional look.
You deal with one person.
Mike does almost every survey himself and stays your contact through to fitting, so your questions get answered quickly. Your quote is in writing, based on the size, style and material of each shutter, and we tell you the expected lead time before you commit.
Do you cover the villages around Alcester?
If your village isn't listed on this page, get in touch anyway and we'll tell you whether we can help.
Which materials can I choose?
Paulownia hardwood is our main range, with basswood, pine and PVC options also available.
Do shutters provide blackout?
Standard plantation shutters help control light but are not a complete blackout system; some light can pass around the panels and louvres.
